Earth Day Celebrations at Delves Infant School

Pupils at Delves Infant School marked Earth Day on April 22nd with enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility for the world around them. As part of the celebrations, children took part in activities designed to inspire them to think about how they can help protect the planet.

One of the highlights of the day was the creation of colourful and thoughtful posters. Each pupil shared their own ideas about how they can make a difference—whether it was recycling more, saving water, planting trees, or being kind to nature. Their messages showed not only imagination, but a genuine commitment to caring for the environment.

In addition to their artwork, pupils also planted sunflower seeds to take home. Over the coming weeks, they will nurture their plants and watch them grow, learning first-hand about nature, responsibility, and the importance of looking after living things.

Achieve Your Goals CIC would like to congratulate all the pupils and staff at Delves Infant School for their fantastic efforts. Activities like these play an important role in helping young people understand that even small actions can make a big difference to our planet.

Well done to everyone involved in Earth Day!
